The band was formed in Late 2005. The first live was in February 2006 in the 1st J-Rock Party in Portugal. During the summer of 2006, Karuniiru gave concerts in events related to Japan, followed by a hiatus until 2009.

After three long, hard years, the band re-appears at the end of 2009 with a new formation, a new philosophy, and that same year, 2009 released their first EP, called Stupidity.
Karuniiru play with a big influence on metal and punk-funk-noise-alternative-nu-thrash-progressive-industrial. For everyone who has supported us over all these years, one word of extreme affection and thanks! You deserve it!
